16 Upcoming-Dancehall Artistes to Look Out for in 2025

Some of the top Dancehall artistes of 2024 locally include Squash, Vybz Kartel, Masicka, Shenseea, Jada Kingdom, Spice, Kraff, Chronic Law, RajahWild, Jamal, Valiant and Armanii. Others also made sizable impact such as Eddy G Bomba, Skippa and Javo Donn.

On the other hand, for many others, it was a ground breaking year, whether it be releasing their first song professionally or releasing what turns out to be their most popular song to date.

This article features a list of artistes who managed to produce notably work in 2024 that got recognition in the music space. While some artistes have achieved more than others, 2025 is shaping up to be a fruitful year for many of the artistes on this list.

The list includes upcoming artistes: Inpha Reblitive, 1Traxs, Badgalreni, Quana, QBE, Sandra Rose, Kaream Kharizma, TRIPPLEGS, Aneesa Badshaw, Papie Keelo, Asce AA Spade, FabiGeez, Thug Famous, Dre X Sparta, Gothic, Virtz and Nordia Mothersille.

Inpha Reblitive is one of the artistes who suffered from Sting 2024 on December 26 being postponed having been officially booked for the show.

Inpha recently garnered attention with his single Pretty & Petty featuring Destiny Sparta on the Great Standards Riddim, alongside Vybz Kartel and Sikka Rymes. Inpha has also collaborated on singles with Shane O, Lisa Hyper, Jafrass, Gold God, and Tommy Lee Sparta, who recently included him in one of his performances.

Sting being postponed was the second major musical setback for the artiste in 2024, his song titled ‘Bob Marley’ was recently struck by Universal Music Group on copyright grounds because of the image used for the cover art. Notably, the song was getting impressive views on Audiomack, racking up over 227k views in less than a month after being released in late October, the song was struck at the end of November.

Despite these setbacks, Inpha Reblitive is on path to make an impact, at least locally in the near future, with his innovative musical style and hard work ethic.

2. 1Traxs

New York based, Dancehall artiste 1Traxs, in December, dropped his most recent musical endeavour titled ‘Silent Rooster’ done on the the popular Rooster Riddim produced by Attomatic Records, Dan Sky Records Directed.

‘Silent Rooster’ has been getting positive reactions from viewers online.

1Traxs is best known musically for his collab with Brook BK titled ‘Toxic’ which was released months ago and has racked up almost 40k views on YouTube.

His Grimy Dancehall lyrics and persona is definitely one to look out for in 2025.

3. Badgalreni and Quana

Badgalreni and Quana

Badgalreni and Quana are blood sisters who are persuing music professionally. They began their musical career in July 2024 and months later, the US-based Dancehall-duo has already released a third music video titled ‘Got It like That’ as they seek to make a mark in the music space.

The first song they released titled ‘Pineapples’ is a witty song that promotes female confidence while highlighting their sexual appeal. On the other hand, their second song which also has a music vodeo is titled ‘Yuhh Lie’, its a song about being deceived and not tolerating sneaky activities in a relationship.

Badgalreni and Quana’s parents were born and raised in Jamaica then later migrated to America. The family has been a big lover of Dancehall music with an older sister named Maria Edwards obtaining New England DHQ status, an achievement which had a heavy influence on their love for the genre.

Despite recently starting to release music professionally, if they remain consistent, their allure and musical ability will surely have them going places in 2025.

Spanish Town Dancehall artiste Qbe had social media in a frenzy when he previewed and released his provacative ‘Throat Goat’ music video in October. The Nah Change Entertainment signed artiste has since followed up with multi-le entertaining releases that has racked up impressive views on YouTube.

Being a young hardcore deejay with a style of his own, and one who is not afriad to push the barriers as it relates to lyrics and visuals, QBE is one to look out for in 2025 if he remains consistent in releasing new music for the public to consume.

5. Sandra Rose

26-year-old Model-turned-recording artiste Sandra Rose has had a fruitful year with regards to being introduced to the Dancehall scene and going on make several appearances with Vybz kartel and even a collaboration with Shawn Storm titled ‘Luxury Dolly’.

The St. Ann native who is based in Canada released her first Dancehall single in January 2024 titled ‘WHIPLASH’, 12 months later she has released 10 music videos on her YouTube channel.

With her work ethic and hunger to make her mark in the music business, Sandra Rose is another artiste to keep an eye on in 2025.

6. Kaream Kharizma

Kaream Kharizma is arguably the most popular upcoming Dancehall artiste in Old Harbour, he is best known islandwide for his song titled ‘Nine to Five [9 to 5]’. The Saint Catherine native has a management team comprising of his Father Bertie Beharrie, Xavier ‘Ras Pizzle’ Campbell and CEO of 343 Muzik Kmar Henry.

The artiste currently has several songs that are well-known in the streets of St. Catherine. Some of these are ‘Pretty Little Indian’, ‘Gyal Magnet’, ‘Watch Over me’, ‘Topman’, ‘No 9-5’ and ‘Eagles Fly Alone’ on the God & Time Riddim which is produced by 343 Muzik.

The Artiste also has been turning heads with his hairstyle, which people maybe say resembles two horns, however, according to the charismatic artiste, they are “antennas”.

7. Aneesa Badshaw

Another canada based Dancehall artiste who is on this list is Aneesa Badshaw, she is the only one not from the island, however, she ventured into Dancehall as a career choice because of her deep love for the genre.

With the fact that there are not any popular Dancehall artiste to break from the North American country in recent times, Badshaw is keen on proving that it’s possible.

Badshaw is of Guyanese descent and while she loves and visits Guyana from time to time, she feels at home in Jamaica and oftentimes finds it hard to leave whenever she visits the island.

Her most popular song is ‘Gymnastic‘ which features Pamputtae, while she managed to creat a buzz with this collab, her planned musical endeavours for 2025 might just give her the hit track that she’s working towards.

For almost a decade, Dancehall artiste Papie Keelo has been making a name for himself through catchy songs, as well as music videos that coincide with the culture and everyday reality. The song and video which has been getting impressive views and good reviews online shows the artitste along with some of his associates enjoying the comopany of several eye catching video vixens.

Shot overseas, the lyrics of ‘Tuff Up Mi Ting’ speaks to the lifestyle of a trapper who is talking it like it is. Furthermore, The artiste recently went viral on Instagram via a video that shows two females sucking off his big toes.

Asce AA Spade has released several music videos over the past year and judging by the promotion he has been putting into his music over the last couple of months, you are most likely to see him ago in 2025, whether going viral for his music or his provocative reels on social media.

New York-based Dancehall artiste TrippleGs who hails from Montego Bay is focued on continuing to make music with ‘morals and standards’ despite the current trend of most fellow Jamaican/Dancehall artistes singing about lewd things including ‘obeah’ to get the big break.

In a recent interview with Jaii Frais, TrippleGs shared that he only desires to create uplifting music, even though other entertainers are making waves in the industry by praising illegal activities.

This strict positive path that the artiste has taken on just might prove to be successful in 2025 because many listeners are also looking out for music with a positive vibration.

Thug Famous who hails from the Grants Pen community in St. Andrew is keen on making his mark in the genre, currently a protege of Dancehall artiste Savage-Savo who is from the same community.

The Mad Dawg Entertainment signed artiste and past student of Oberlin High School & Holly Trinity High School has been recording music since 2012, before he left school. His latest released song titled ‘Addicted’, produced by his management team was accompanied by a music video that’s currently getting positive feedback on YouTube and social media, especially on TikTok.

At the moment, Thug Famous is seeing a up-move in his career, buzzing in the streets of upper St. Andrew, if he remains consistent in 2025, it just might be his breakout year in Dancehall.

13. Dre X Sparta

The Montego Bay based Dancehall artiste is experiencing a resurgence in his career, having released his latest single titled ‘Beast’ featuring in-form Dancehall artiste Jamal.

The music video for the Empress Ann Recordz x Navigator Entertainment produced song has racked up over 200k views on YouTube in just 6 days. The visuals also features appearance from Tommy lee Sparta and multiple other known Dancehall figures.

Dre X Sparta also recently released ‘Drip’, another song produced by Empress Ann Recordz. Being reinvigorated at the top of the year, Dre X Sparta is one to look out for in 2025.

The Montego Bay native is best known for his song titled, ‘Crawsis’ featuring label mate Savage, released in October 2024, the music video racked up over 90k views on YouTube in a few months.

The artiste whose talent initially put him on the radar last summer has had the opportunity to grace the stages of events such as the Sumfest Street Dance, The Mobay Jerk Festival, among other major events.

The Empress Ann Recordz signed artiste is poised to do big things in 2025 if he remains consistent and plays his cards right.

She already has been officially recognized as a Grammy Award-winning songwriter for her significant role as co-writer on the song “Robbed,” produced by Notnice Records and featured on Julian Marley and Alexx Antaeus’ Grammy Award-winning album, Colors Of Royal.
