Jamaican top striker Khadija ‘Bunny’ Shaw was on target twice on Thursday, helping Manchester City Women’s team qualify for the Women’s Champions League group stages, having failed to do so last year.

Her two goals which included a penalty and a strike from inside the box helped the WSL team beat French team Paris FC 3-0. Chloe Kelly scored City’s first goal, she also assisted one of Shaw’s goals.

“Bunny” Shaw did not play the first leg of the encounter which ended in a 5-0 victory for City, because her visa was not sorted in time for her to play in that game.

Nevertheless, she was present in the Joie Stadium(home to Manchester City Women’s team). Arsenal was also victorious on the day, causing them to also qualify for the Women’s Champions League group stages.

Shaw is expected to play her next game in the Women’s Super League on Sunday vs Brighton & Hove Albion.
