2 Injured, Motorcycle Split in Two, During Crash in Guyana: Video

Multiple people were left injured after a car collided with a motorcycle at DSL Junction, Mandela Avenue, in Guyana.

The exact time of the accident is not yet clear, but reports online indicate that the incident happened on Thursday.

The accident was recorded on CCTV footage, which has been circulating on social media.

In the video, the motorcyclist, who was travelling with a pillion rider, appears to have run a red light, driving past the vehicles waiting for the stop light to change.

While crossing the intersection, a car, which seemingly had the right of way, crashed into the motorcycle.

The driver and the passenger were then struck off the motorcycle, which was sent flying several feet away.

Reports state that two people were seriously injured during the accident.
However, it is not known if the injured are solely the individuals on the motorcycle.

Photographs taken at the scene of the accident reveal that the motorcycle was split in two during the collision.

The front bumper of the car was also badly damaged.
