4 year-old Fatally Shot in Head in Manchester

Four-year-old Gia Grinnel was home with her mother and a sibling when an explosion was heard and the child subsequently found suffering from a gunshot wound to the head.

As per the reports, The incident took place Tuesday night around 10 PM in the Ingleside community of Mandeville, Manchester.

The police detailed that Gia and her 12-year-old sibling were put to bed by their mother and while the mother was in another room the explosion was heard.

The child was taken to the hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

The weapon was reportedly last placed in the mother’s handbag, it has been sized by the police who are investigating the matter.
