As per Morris, he had initially signed a 5-year contract with Alkaline that would have ended in 2018. He also noted that Alkaline became famous locally after a year into the contract, quicker than he had expected.

By mid-2013, Morris shared that Alkaline’s music started to gain traction, which he credits to investing his time and money to the point of nearly depleting his entire savings to promote the young artiste.

Morris details that not long after the deejay got the spotlight, their relationship, which started off very good, began going sour. The former manager said that Akaline accused him of ‘robbing’ him by taking more money out of deals than he should have.

At the height of their feud, Morris recalls his car window being smashed by a stone and his then-girlfriend being cut at an event. Morris also recounted another situation in which he and Alkaline had a standoff over payment after a show.

With the fact that both Alkaline and Morris lived in the same community, the former manager highlights that he usually visit alkaline’s home on a regular basis while they were on good terms, hence after the fallout he knew exactly where to find him.

“After everything gwaan country mi guh enuh… Man get beatup, lickout teeth man, gun draw, a bag a tings, police use to sleep a mi yaad at one point enuh,” he said before revealing another dark part of their feud.

Talking about visiting Alkaline’s home in Sandy Park, Morris stated, “Mi ago tell unuh supp’n weh a few people know this, mi si dung a that youth yaad wid a gun inna mi lap enuh bro… a mi son mek mi nuh walk inna that yaad and shoot it up enuh bro,” he detailed.

Morris was asked if he was willing to go inside and shoot Alkaline to which Morris responded saying “yes” before detailing that several of his associates were attacked and badly beaten by Alkaline’s associates, “A woleep a back and forth did a gwaan” he also noted that he was interviewed by CIB.
