“A Just Suh It Go, Man” … Ninja Man Reaction To Being Found Guilty

[Sharingbuttons]Veteran entertainer Ninja Man along with his son Jameil and Denis Clayton has been found guilty.

The three accused were found guilty by a Seven member jury for 2009 murder of Ricardo Johnson also called Trooper.”

“A suh it go man,” Ninja Man reportedly said as he and his co-accused were led away in handcuffs.

According to prosecutors in March 2009, Ninjaman and the other accused entered a yard along Marl Road in Olympic Gardens and fired several rounds at a man who fled the premises. Mr. Johnson, who was also in the yard, was fatally shot.

The man who allegedly escaped the attack gave testimony to the jury two weeks ago outlining what happened.

According to the witness, he testified that Ninjaman, who was armed with a gun, fired twice at him and he fled.

Ninja Man 51, and his co-accused have been on trial for the past six weeks.

Director of Public Prosecutions Paula Llewellyn has commended the team of prosecutors and investigators for mounting what she calls a very challenging case.

She told a news report that her office has been trying to focus on matters of “some vintage”.

“Once there is a viable case, we are obligated to go forward,” Llewellyn said.

“Jurors heard the evidence, they heard the summation of prosecuting and defence counsel as well as the judge and they made their decision,” Llewellyn added.

He is to be sentenced on December 15.
