Amidst mixed reactions to her return to the popular Crab Circle at Heroes Circle in Kingston, Alice Waugh talked to a news reporter about her controversial return to the area, detailing that things have been good so far.
Alice stated that customers have been rolling in, with some expressing joy that she’s back after being absent since October of 2023. “It feels good and aright. Them greet me good and seh Alice mi glad fi si yuh come back,” Alice stated.
Another person, who spoke to a TVJ reporter, stated that Alice being back at the location is a plus for business. Notably, internet personality Queenie and female Dancehall artiste Suspense visited Alice recently in support. The video clip from the visit is ow making rounds online.
Following her band, Alice obtained a food handler’s permit and with no known current block on her, she returned to the spot on her own will. As per the authority, Alice is not banned from continuing to sell food, nevertheless an investigation is currently being carried out regarding her return.
