Band Member of Third World Irvin “Carrot” Jarrett Died

[Sharingbuttons]Former Third World member Irvin “Carrot” Jarret died at 69- years of -age. He died yesterday at the Andrews Memorial Hospital in Kingston, Jamaica; and left his wife and 5 children behind.

He had no known illness and passed away in his sleep, his wife has been overcome with grief and has not been able to speak about her loss. However, he was married to Alisia Jarret his soulmate since 2013.
His death was certainly unexpected and he will be missed by many persons.
His friend and bandmate Michael ‘Ibo’ Cooper said he was a friend and brother to him. The former percussionist and drummer was a part of the band when the Reggae Band was nominated for a Grammy.
Carrot contributed to Reggae music and did quite a bit for the National Dance Theatre Company.
