After going viral on TikTok with the freestyle of ‘Cheese In Jeans’, young Dancehall artiste Bandit 7teen released the official music video for the song on April 16 and 9 days later, the artiste who was previously unknown to the mass hit the number one spot for Trending in Music for Jamaica on YouTube.
‘Cheese In Jeans’ is Bandit 7teen’s first major musical release. It’s a typical choppa song, but with a unique flow, provocative lyrics and catchy melodies. The release of the track was also accompanied by an eye-catching music video with visuals from several different locations.
Some lyrics, Chorus, “How yuh fi talk bout meech and yuh don’t got cheese in jeans.”
The music video which shows scenes from in new Kingston, features the artiste along with several of his associates plus a few attractive video vixens.
The song was produced by Chuck Starr, mixed and mastered by Chuck Starr. While the visuals were done by 14k Flim and the riddim made by Caado Beats.
‘Cheese In Jeans’ currently has over 500k views and over 28k likes on YouTube and is currently growing rapidly daily. The song knocked Jamal’s ‘999’ off the number one spot on Wednesday, ‘999’ has been in the number one spot for over three weeks, highlighting the gravity of both songs.
Reacting to ‘Cheese In Jeans’, one person commented, “Song ave a vibe yf……dawg flow just calm and easy….young ute dem a come tek ova,” another said, ‘Big up chunk star fi Sen the dawg dem a road”.
