Beenie Man’s USA Visa Restored

Dancehall superstar Beenie Man is set to make his return to the United States, announcing in a Boxing Day Instagram video that his US visa has been reinstated.

Beenie Man who spent the Christmas Holday in London took to social media to talk on the delay of the final of a football competition that he’s hosting, “the match put off until Sunday” he outlined before detailing that the holiday caused the delay.

After talking on the football competition that’s keeping in the “Stand-Pipe” community, he next talked on getting back his Visa. “American Visa come one more time… America mi soon forward,” the Grammy-winning artiste declared, signalling the end of his years-long travel ban.

Beenie Man’s US travel woes began in 2010 when his visa was revoked, several other Dancehall stars including Bounty Killer, Sizzla, Aidonia, and Mavado also lost their visa.

In July 2011, The Jamaica Gleaner reported the initial restoration of Beenie Man’s visa, which allowed him to perform in the US, including a memorable set at the Groovin In The Park concert in New York alongside Jimmy Cliff, Beres Hammond, and others.

He later graced the 2013 BET Awards stage and performed with Ashanti in New York in 2014, among other notable appearances. However, by September 2015, Beenie Man once again found himself unable to travel to the US.

The recent reinstatement of his visa marks a significant moment for the Dancehall star, whose fans eagerly anticipate his return to the American stage.

As per Foota Hype, he will be the DJ at several of Beenie Man’s shows that are set for 2025 in America.
