Body of Missing Female Student, Anisa Dilworth, Seemingly Found in Portmore

As per reports, a body of a female was found in Portmore, St. Catherine on Saturday. Authorities are theorising that the body is of 20-year-old Anisa Dilworth who has been missing since the 6th of May.

The Jamaica Gleaner broke the news about the body being found on Saturday, the report also details that information on the discovery is limited.

Dilworth is a pharmaceutical science student of University of Technology, Jamaica (UTech) and since her disappearance an inDrive taxi driver was taken in by the police for questioning, he remains in lock up over the weekend.

Information about his arrest or release from custody is expected to be revealed to the public early next week.

As per Dilworth’s father, he has been getting strange calls from persons whom he perceives to be ‘scammers’ because they are requesting money to give information on her whereabouts.
