Body of Woman Found at Beach in St. Ann

The Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) is currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a woman whose body was discovered at a beach in Ocho Rios, St. Ann, on Tuesday.

According to reports, the woman was seen floating in the water at Mahogany Beach at approximately 3:50 p.m.

Following the discovery of the woman’s body, an alarm was raised and the police notified.

After she was removed from the water, the woman was transported to the St. Ann’s Bay Regional Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

The incident is being treated as a suspected drowning.

The woman has not yet been identified, but according to reports from the Jamaica Observer, she was wearing a black floral long-sleeved shirt, a black floral swimsuit, and water shoes when her body was discovered.
