Boom Boom Approves Rugged Boss’s ‘Warning’ in The Streets

Rugged Boss’s latest release, Warning, is not only getting approval from the Dancehall artiste’s fans, but the song has also been endorsed by popular sound system selector Boom Boom and other popular local dancers.

Like the veteran selectors before him, Boom Boom plays a pivotal role in the rise of a Dancehall song in the streets. Equally known for his music mixing skills and high energy on stage, Boom Boom is a fixture at multiple Dancehall events in Jamaica.

The DJ has and continues to use his platform to highlight emerging artistes in the music industry. Arnett Gardens native Rugged Boss is one such artiste whose music Boom Boom has endorsed at popular Kingston events like Uptown Mondays and Boom Sundays.

The selector can be seen highlighting Warning in multiple videos circulated online. Boom Boom also previously showed support for Rugged Boss’s single Run In, which was released earlier this year.

Several dancers, including veterans like Shelly Belly, Expensive, Boysie and Energy, have also been showing the song love at parties.

Warning‘s official music video was released on June 13, featuring several dancers, including Energy and the Getther Squad, as well as Boysie Roses.

Warning, which was produced by Jahlove2u Productions and West876records, surpassed 50,000 views during the first day of its release on YouTube. The song has so far amassed over 664,200 views.
