While at Job Lane in Spanish Town where the incident took place, Holness made note that he is also from Spanish Town and knows the place very well where the crime took place.

The suspected killer whose name is Giovanni Ellis, otherwise called ‘Indian’ or ‘Coolie Man,’ up until Monday morning is still on the run.

Prime Minister Dr Andrew Holness says residents refraining from acts of jungle justice following the murder of 9-year-old Kelsey Ferrigon in Job Lane in Spanish Town is a “sign of the emerging credibility” of the police force”. “Nobody should try to take matters into their own hands,” he said before meeting with Kelsey’s mom on Sunday. The police have intensified their search for Giovanni Ellis, otherwise called ‘Indian’ or ‘Coolie Man,’ who has been named a person of interest in the crime. #GLNRToday
