Cardi B Announces September Album Release with Dramatic Cover Art

Cardi B has officially announced the release date for her highly anticipated second studio album. After teasing fans with a cryptic post on Sunday that read, “TIMES UP. 🪶 I got an announcement to make tomorrow,” the outspoken Bronx rapper returned to social media on Monday with the big reveal.
Cardi B’s next album will be titled ‘AM I THE DRAMA’ and is set for release on September 19, 2025.
“AM I THE DRAMA? 🐦⬛ My new album is out September 19th! Preorder LINK IN BIO,” Cardi wrote, alongside the striking cover art. The image features her dressed head to toe in red, surrounded by a dark flock of ravens—setting a bold tone for what fans expect to be an explosive project.
Known offstage as Belcalis Marlenis Cephus, Cardi’s announcement instantly sent fans into a frenzy online. One follower wrote, “When I tell you this just gave me CHILLS! I don’t care what they say about my baby, she will always come out on TOP!”
Another fan added, “They are shaking I fear! Y’all thought she was shelved! She’s back!! Oh, she’s TAKING IT! Keep your foot on their necks!”
Some supporters also called for Cardi to include previous hits like “WAP,” “UP,” and “Bongos” as bonus tracks to boost album sales even more.
With the September 19 release date now confirmed, anticipation is building rapidly. This marks Cardi B’s first full-length project since her record-breaking 2018 debut Invasion of Privacy, which won a Grammy and solidified her as one of hip hop’s biggest stars.
