Dancehall Artiste EleganceGad Gunned Down In Mandeville
Dancehall artiste EleganceGad was gunned down in Manchester this morning, and the police have since launched an investigation into the shooting.
According to a source, the incident is believed to have happened about 3:00 a.m. in Russell’s Place, Mandeville.
The source further alleged that the shooting occurred when EleganceGad was returning from a party in Russell Place and stopped at a bar.
Head of the Manchester Police, Shane McCalla, confirmed that the entertainer was discovered in his motor car where he was attacked.
Additional reports outline that a woman was also in the vehicle with EleganceGad at the time of the incident, but she was not harmed.
However, the entertainer was pronounced dead upon arriving at the hospital.

EleganceGad, who is known for his biggest single Time Is Money (Chop Chop), hails from St Elizabeth, and the police are theorizing that his murder is related to illicit operations in the parish.
