Dancehall artiste Rygin King Shot and Injured
Dancehall artiste Rygin King was reportedly shot and injured. According to reports a female was shot and injured during the shooting and later died at hospital.
It’s believed that Rygin King was with his manager and others when the shooting took place.
The police’s Corporate Communications Unit said the incident happened in Westmoreland on Sunday June 28, about 3:15 p.m. after leaving a funeral.
A third person was reportedly shot and injured during the incident, Rygin King is current undergoing surgery.
According to reports Rygin King was badly injured by an object after he got shot.
Vybz Kartel has since posted on the matter, he wrote “Dont give up youth!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! All who believe in God send up a prayer fi rygin king please!”
Popular producer Shab Don uploaded a photo of the deejay asking fans for their prayers.
“Don’t give up Rygin king you youth dem need you also u Friends on family stay Strong let’s pray for him,” he wrote.
