Demarco who recently released his latest musical endeavour with Pablo YG titled ‘Count We Out‘ took to social media hours ago to talk about his plans for music and remind fans that he’s celebrating his birthday on September 28, he did so with a bottle in hand, outlining during the live chat that he was “drunk”.

Aside from talking about himself, the 42-year-old deejay highlighted that Vybz Kartel is second to none with regard to Dancehall music and his “will power and mindset”.

According to Demarco, he will strategically be releasing music periodically because he doesn’t want to release too much music and they fall on “deaf ears”. On the other hand, he also contemplated releasing a lot of music in a short period of time because he has too many stored.

“How can a man deh inna a prison cell bro and hear seh yuh have life inna prison… and you gi the world some bombocl**t music fi blood**t dance to and you a nuh the greatest?… bro him a the greatest mi nuh give a f**k all me seh me a the baddest thing, Kartel a the greatest thing!” Demarco said.

“Bro inspire mi dawg nah tell no lie… no lie… you a the greatest inna Dancehall… I want to be like that, and mi ago learn it,” he said.

Further on in the live chat Demarco called for “structure” in Dancehall, outlining that the industry is too “divided”. The veteran states that until Dancehall get more “professional” things won’t improve. “That a the only thing weh a beat Dancehall is the business,” he declares.

He also urged young artistes to get entertainment lawyers, highlighting that they are missing out on gains because of the lack of structure. Demarco blamed the ego of some of the young artistes in Dancehall as a major problem. Before completing his statement on the matter, he shared multiple examples.

“Mi wah si dem reach far bro… unun fi stop dem f**kry yah dem crab inna barrel mentality… too divided yow.”
