Deportee and Ricky 10 Drop Lively Visuals For ‘Bad Mamma Jamma’

After being in tune with Jamaican culture most of his growing years, Detroit based Dancehall fusion artiste Deportee has found himself on a musical high following the response to his most recent release, “Bad Mamma Jamma”.

Presented as a collaboration with Dancehall artiste Ricky 10, the single was released to all major digital streaming platforms earlier this month through their Akbar Studio and Record Company Limited.

Coming to us as a fascinating blend of Dancehall and Hip Hop, ‘Bad Mamma Jamma’ seeks to serve as a motivational anthem for the ladies.

The track has been making rounds locally and internationally, leading to the track being noticed by several key industry players who have curated the track to their playlists and libraries.

What makes Deportee Different?

Deportee’s style of music derives from always traveling as a child and being introduced to various cultures which have today influenced his fusion style of music. Having grown up with a
mother who was a United States diplomat in eight countries and as such, he was introduced to different backgrounds which diversified his musical influences to give us the sound we enjoy
today.

In a previous interview, Deportee shared that the collaboration was long overdue as he a Deportee have always aspired to do a collaboration since they formed an alliance a few years back; “Ricky and I met in 2023 when I was looking for studios to record in and since then, we have formed a team that will be a force to reckon with in coming months. We launched the Akbar brand and we currently have numerous projects in the pipeline that i am sure will offer education as well as entertainment to our listeners”

With the attention “Bad Mamma Jamma” has been receiving, the two have decided to extend their promotional campaign while putting together strategies for their follow up release which will be a juggling.

Other releases from Ricky 10 include; ‘Heart In Me’ and ‘Addictive’ while tracks from Deportee include; ‘Caught Up’ and ‘Getting Back With My Ex’.
