D’yani’s Outfit at Reggae Sumfest Criticized Online
Dancehall Reggae singer D’yani performed at Reggae Sumfest on Night 2, over the weekend, following his performance he was interviewed by SunCity FM about the performance and his “unique” fashion choice.
In the interview, he showed gratitude to the organisers of Sumfest and his management team, namely “Joe” and “Skatta”. “I’m grateful… all the credit goes to my management team,” he stated when asked about being able to perform at the event “back to back” years.
He also stated that he was given the opportunity to “express” himself. With regard to his expression, notably, his fashion attire was unlike any other at the event. He had on a mixture of bright and dark colours.
The singer’s attire features pants and a top that shows his belly, the fact that it shows his belly, his sexuality was called into question, in the comments section.
One Instagram user wrote, “Times are REALLY changing….. Young women loving the feminine touch from a male and MALES 👀 THAT CLAIM TI BE STRAIGHT 👀 dressing feminine. Yeah! Styling hair and THROWING it like a woman, NEW WORLD…”
Another person stated, “Who nuh waah seh it..D MAN LOOK SHAKEY BAD..cyaah believe a this mi a see..Yaah sing seh gyal a u pretty lil freak..Beta u sing “am coming out n u want d world to know.”
