As Jamaican sprinter Elaine Thompson-Herah continues recovery following an injury-riddled track season which caused her to miss the Paris Olympic Games, she is also pencilling in some time for leisure.

The 32-year-old shared a reel on Instagram earlier today enjoying a myriad of outdoor activities including horse-back riding on the beach, swinging from a rope above a river, and riding an ATV. She noted that she was happy to complete some bucket-list items in her very own country, although social media users could see that she was hesitating to swing from the rope. Who knows, maybe she’s afraid of heights?

Regardless, it was a joy to behold the sprint queen having an amazing time. She was glad in a black bodysuit and matching black sneakers— the perfect fit for a day filled with outdoor adventure!

Her online followers enjoyed seeing her have a blast.

One user commented, “Watch the fastest woman alive inna mi place. Spanish Bridge rope swing is undefeated.”

Meanwhile, another said, “Have fun Queen @fastelaine love how you’re enjoying yourself in YOUR very own country 😍”

Thompson-Herah was one of several athletes who participated in the World Continental Tour Gold 100m meet in New York back in June. After finishing last, the sprinter began showing signs of an injury and had to be carried out of the Icahn Stadium.

She has since been focused on her wellness and recovery.
