Robertson was abducted while walking on Old Hope Road near Downer Avenue in the vicinity of the Diabetes Association of Jamaica. In the video, Robertson can be seen slowly making her way down the road at approximately 5:36 am when a man in a hoodie walks up behind her.

As the man walks up behind Robertson, a dark blue van reverses and stops just ahead of her before turning the car closer to the sidewalk. Robertson is heard screaming after the man in the hoodie grabs her. The van’s back door later slides open, and Robertson is forced into the vehicle.

While a motive for Roberston’s abduction has not yet been established, the police reportedly suspect that her kidnapping is linked to the recent murder of JLP worker and activist David Clarke in Swallowfield, St. Andrew. According to reports, Robertson was abducted a day before Clarke’s funeral.

Police sources reportedly shared with NationWide News that a Swallowfield-based gang has been targeting residents in the community and may have killed Robertson and Clarke.
