‘Go Down Deh’ Hits Gold in France
Spice’s hit single, ‘Go Down Deh’ featuring fellow Dancehall Titans, Shaggy and Sean Paul is now certified gold in France.
The news was made public on Monday by the National Syndicate of Photogenic Publishing in France after the single reached the 15,000,000 streams threshold.
The single is from her Grammy nominated album ’10’ album which was released in 2021 and is still one of the genre’s biggest songs in recent history, accumulating well over 300 million views on Youtube.
This isn’t the first time that a track of her’s went Gold as her smash hit single, ‘So Mi Like It’ achieved the same feat in Canada last year while ‘Go down deh’ also went platinum in that same timeframe in the aforementioned country.
The track was produced by Romanian “Costi” Constantin who also was the producer for Shaggy’s smash hit single ‘I Need Your Love’ which graced the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
