This Dancehall artiste got his international breakout hit via a successful collaboration with one of Dancehall’s giants.
He has not only worked with some of the best Jamaican artistes but also international stars as well, he has been featured on songs with international American artistes such as Busta Rhymes, Travis Scott, Nicki Minaj, Megan Thee Stallion, and Chris Brown.
On the other hand, he has worked with African giants such as Burna Boy and Davido.
But before his career in Dancehall, the artiste briefly considered a career in the military, which is ironic because he is known for his unruly behaviour. While the deejay may have considered a role in the military as an alternative to Dancehall, he has also expressed that he would probably be a chef if not an entertainer.
The artiste also enjoys showing off his cooking skills online. The St. Thomas native’s style also grabs attention on social media, if not for his choice in fashion, then for his often peculiar hairstyles.
The entertainer in question, Popcaan, shared one of his unique looks on his Instagram page on Monday, with the artiste seen dressed in a green camouflage ghillie suit.
The Family deejay also shared photos with two of his associates, who were also wearing ghillie suits. Tagging the photograph Popcaan wrote, “Pikibu.”
