Jada Kingdom Ditches Lip Fillers: “Cute, Fun…But Never Again”

Jada Kingdom just wanted “to be a girl and look cute” with lip fillers, but now she shares the inconvenience of her experience.

Jada Ashanti Murphy, known more popularly as Jada Kingdom is one of Dancehall’s most talented young female artistes, furthermore she’s a great songwriter. But for most of her fans, Jada Kingdom is also an influencer, trend maker and fashion icon. In other words, whatever Jada does, others are sure to follow.

It would have been no surprise therefore, that when Jada enhanced her lips by using lip fillers over a year ago, that many of her fans would be enticed into the plump lips phenomenon, brought about by lip fillers.

Lip fillers have become a global trend, which has seen women from different races and ethnicities embracing lip fillers as a route to having a more plump and attractive pair of lips. No doubt, over recent times, plump lips have become more than just another part of the body, full lips have become a fashion symbol, a confidence boost and a must-have for many females.

However, in a recent post on social media, Jada Kingdom shared her experience with lip fillers. Initially, Jada embraced the idea of lop fillers enhancing her physical appearance, according to her, having lip fillers were “cute, fun, okay“ she went on to say “girls just want to be girls, they want to try things, it’s not that deep, I tried them and took them out.”

But while sharing the positives of fillers in general, and lip fillers specifically, Jada also highlighted the inconvenience of having fillers. According to her, “fillers get hard and they migrate” meaning that the fillers are not static, but move around. As it relates to lip fillers, Jada said “I can fold my lips now, people don’t talk about this, when you have in fillers, you can’t fold your lips.”

Jada outlined that she has always embraced her natural body and beauty, and while everyone can choose what’s best for them, she “doesn’t have any plans of getting fillers again”
