Jamaica with 8 Medals 3rd on the Table at IAAF World Athletics Championships in Doha 2019

Jamaica is now 3rd on the medal table with a total of 8 medals. Shericka Jackson and her teammate Stephanie McPherson will contest the final of the Women’s 400m in IAAF World Athletics Championships in Doha, Quatar, at 3:50 pm Jamaica time.

In the Women’s Triple Jump, Shanieka Ricketts and Kimberly Williams will compete. O’Dayne Richards will contest the Shot-Put Final, Danniel Thomas-Dodd also will compete in the Women’s Shot-Put Final.

Oniel McLeod stumbled to a fall after he hit some hurdles and disrupted Orlando Ortega, the Diamond League Champion before he was disqualified.

Yohan Blake failed to get a medal when he finished at 5th place in the men’s 100m race.

While Shelly-Ann Fraser Pryce is crowned the fastest woman in the world, after she won the Gold Medal in the 100m race.

The mixed relay team won a silver medal and Fredrick Dacres won a silver medal for throwing the Discus.

Tajay Gayle won a Gold medal in the Long Jump competition on Saturday when he stunned the world.
