Evan Thompson the Director of the Met Office warned Jamaicans that there might not be enough water to sustain the country, in the final three months of the dry time.

Mr. Thompson spoke at a Drought Mitigation Press Conference at Jamaica House recently.

He said the country had less than normal rainfall throughout the rainy season after it started in October 2019.

He added that having enough rainfall in the primary rainy season is critical, as water is collected for the country to last through-out the dry season.

During the current dry season which runs between December and April, parishes such as St. Mary and St Ann could see moderate drought conditions.
