Junelle and Noah Capturing Hearts with New Photo Shoot: Wedding Celebration Set for April 4, 2026
Athletes Junelle Bromfield and Noah Lyles, both 27, are once again capturing hearts on social media with their latest photo shoot, featured in Essence magazine.
The engaged couple, who announced their engagement last October and moved in together shortly after, shared stunning new images on Tuesday, June 3, celebrating their love with the caption: “Black love. Bold love. God-ordained love. No finish line, just forever. 💍🔥 #OnTrackToForever.”
The photos have quickly gained traction online, racking up likes and supportive comments. In the shoot, Noah wore a stylish greenish suit, while Junelle stunned in a burgundy-red gown with a dramatic train. One admirer, Alyshia Powell, wife of former sprinter Asafa Powell, commented, “You both look amazing 🙌🏽 @junellebromfield you are a stunner.”
Hints of an upcoming wedding have been circulating since February 2025, when Junelle shared a video surrounded by white wedding dresses. She captioned it with a playful nod to Noah, tagging him and miming the lyrics, “I like your last name, can I have it?”—to which Noah sweetly replied, “You sure can.”
In the new article published by Essence on Tuesday, the American sprinted talked on wanting to marry the Jamaican shortly after they started dating and he also revealed when the two will get married.
As per Noah, he knew that he wanted to marry the 400m runner within the first year of dating her, “Around June 2024, I started looking for a ring… I knew that we were going to get married in our first year of dating, but I thought it would be too crazy to propose in the first year, so I waited.”
He continues, “It took about four months of planning to get the proposal ready, and on many occasions, I was thinking about just throwing it all out the window and just spontaneously proposing to her, but she told me that I could not surprise her on the day when I propose. So I took it as a challenge and stuck to my guns and waited for the day that I had chosen.”
Noah revealed the date of their wedding in the article, he stated, “We have begun wedding planning and we found our wedding venue that we are really in love with… We will be having our wedding celebration on April 4, 2026. We have an amazing wedding planner that’s making the process easier for both of us.” Noah also revealed that his partner already picked out a wedding dress.
