Sure that he would one day be a free man again, Vybz Kartel saved a gift given to him by his daughter, Adi’Anna Palmer, for when he’s released.
Adi’Anna, who graduated from the Wolmer’s Girls High School this year, is Kartel’s only child with entrepreneur Sherika Todd.
The Summer Time deejay was convicted for the murder of Clive ‘Lizard’ Williams when she was 7 years old.
Though he missed her teenage years and was unable to watch her grow up, Adi’Anna, like many of his other children, visited him during his incarceration.
In a video shared on his Instagram page on Wednesday, Kartel shared that he left a gift Adi’Anna gave him unopened and gave it to someone for safekeeping.
According to the artiste, he had no doubt that he would eventually be released. As Kartel opened the gift, a snow globe with a photo of Adi’Anna was revealed.
Kartel quickly began singing his track Adiana, during which he declared that he would never put any woman above his daughter.
