Khadija “Bunny” Shaw Seals 3 Year Deal With Manchester City

Female Jamaican Football player, Khadija “Bunny” Shaw, has decided to leave her previous French Football Club Girondins de Bordeaux, for a 3 year deal at Manchester City. The information was recently revealed by way of an Instagram post by the Reggae Girlz Foundation, celebrating the footballer after she made the progressive move.

For the 2020-2021 football season, the 24-year-old female has made France league 1 women’s all-star team, as well as she was honoured as the league’s top goal scorer.

Shaw also is the leading goal scorer of all time in Jamaica’s female overall football history, scoring 42 goals from 32 starts.

On their Instagram page, the Reggae Girlz Foundation wrote their celebratory words towards Shaw by stating, “BOOM. Congratulations @bun_bun10. She has agreed to a 3 year deal”. The local football organisation wrote further to the female footballer in their caption by saying, “With your support our #ReggaeGirlz cannot be stopped and are #ROOTED2RISE”.

It is a good look to see our National player rise to such an accomplishment, and it will certainly be great to see more women rising to the occasion like Khadija.

While Khadija is yet to make the announcement about her move to Man-City, she did post a statement about her exit from Girondins de Bordeaux football club.
