Reality TV star, Kim Kardashian has made one big step in the journey of walking in her father’s shoes and becoming a lawyer after she successfully passed the bar.
After passing the First-Year Law Students’ Examination in December, Kim Kardashian revealed that while it was the hardest she has ever worked in her life, the experience was most definitely worth the labour as she is still very passionate about Criminal Justice Reform.
“The experience taught me so much and I’ve never worked so hard on something in my life. I had to be really diligent about studying and dedicated every spare minute I had to it,” the social media phenomenon and entrepreneur stated.
She went on to say, “I’m very passionate about Criminal Justice Reform and I want to advocate for those who I feel they were wrongfully convicted. I dream of one day creating a successful law firm.”
Kim stated that this career path makes her feel a closer bond to her deceased father, Robert Kardashian, who was an accomplished American Attorney, and also knowing that she will be helping persons is a definite win.
The superstar also revealed that all those times she spent with her father in his office had a big influence on her present career goals.
Kim also added that this was something she had always wanted to do and she pointed out that she had spoken about her passion in several interviews in the past when she was asked about her interests outside of the reality TV series Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
Kim mentioned that being an attorney has been in her soul for many years and she recalled telling past interviewers that she wanted to either be a “crime scene investigator or an attorney”.
Reflecting on her journey, Kim explained that while her 20s were “about embracing all of the craziness and mistakes” she made in her younger days, her 30s were about focusing on herself and finding her “own self confidence” to ultimately care less about critics and “live in the moment”. She also added that her 40s taught her a lot about focusing on her own happiness instead of pleasing people.
