Kiprich Gets Bail Extension

Dancehall artiste Kiprich whose birth name is Marlon Plunkett appeared in court on Tuesday, May 20th, however, court proceedings were postponed due to a missing report that was to be submitted by the police’s Communication Forensic Cybercrime Division.
As a result of the report not being presented, the case was postponed until Friday, September 19. The deejay’s bail was extended.
Plunkett was arrested and charged a few months ago in February, after a dubplate of the artiste endorsing the One Order gang and Othniel “Thickman” Lobban, who was recently killed by lawenforcers.
The dubplate also seemingly promoted the attacking of the police in retaliation to the killing.
In a recent interview, Plunkett outlined that he has done more violent/harsh dubplates in the past but was not dragged before the court, he also hinted that the dubplate heard was spliced and it was not his intension to bring harm to the police.
Kiprich, who is 45 years old, was charged under section 18A of the Offence Against the Person Act.
