Koffee Scheduled to Perform at Super Bowl and Coachella

Koffee the 19-year-old Jamaican Grammy nominated artiste is scheduled to perform during Super Bowl on the weekend that runs from January 31 to February 1 at Marlins Park, Miami USA.  

She was added to the line-up recently, for the Viewtopia Music Festival, which is one of the opening to NFL Super Bowl, and dancehall deejays Squash and Shenseea will also be featured there as well.

The other artistes who are expected to perform are Jeremih, Kid Capri, Megan Thee Stallion Boy, Cardi B, Chris Brown, DJ Khaled, DaBaby, Dani Leigh, Davido, Gunna, and Migos.

The news about Koffee’s Super Bowl performance came just days after it was announced that she will be one of the performers at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. Coachella, which is said to be the largest music festival in the world, it will be held at the Empire Polo Club, Indio, California, for two weekends in April: April 10 to 12 and April 17 to 19.

Koffee whose given name is Mikayla Simpson, is from Spanish Town, and she is the youngest Jamaican solo act nominated for Best Reggae Album, for her EP Rapture, which was released on March 14, 2019.  Produced on the Columbia Records UK label. She will be competing with veterans in the Reggae music business, such as Julian Marley, Third World, Sly and Robbie and Steel Pulse.

Koffee’s career got a big boost last summer when she was a performer on the Canadian singer Daniel Caesar’s North American tour. She was also announced as the opening act for British pop singer Harry Styles on select dates of his 2020 North American Love On Tour on November 13.
