Kyodi Eyes Career Growth

Dancehall may be deemed a crowded space, however, one artiste that stands out from the rest is Kyodi. According to many musical pundits, he should be a much bigger star based on his skillset.

His talent is undeniable, and he has secured hits such as “When Me Nice” and “Asset.” However, based on his lyrical prowess and stage craft, shouldn’t he be higher in the Dancehall pecking order? Kyodi was asked this question directly. Here is what he had to say.

“Time is the master i am grateful for the level i have reached thus far and i am putting in the work to grow my audience globally. know I am a great artiste, and the fans know that as well. Me nah watch di crowd me just a do my ting and put in my work yuh know. Me just a gwaan give thanks for how far me reach and a gwaan grow my brand at the pace wheh di almighty see fit,” Kyodi stated.

The lyrically potent deejay who recently collaborated with fellow entertainer Nhance on a track entitled “Born Fi Great” has also released a highly rated album. The deejay’s latest single entitled ‘Stagga Back’ is also racking up impressive streams on all major digital platforms and has charted in several countries.

“An elder in music listened to my album and said yute yuh a di Baddest artiste me hear in about 20 years and cold bump cover me same time. Me feel good innn me self fi know seh people with musical experience a give me dem level of ratings deh. I feel like It’s time to take my career to the international level,” stated Kyodi.

Born Kyodi Green, the Kingston native rose to stardom following his break-out hit ‘When Me Nice,’ which charted locally and internationally. He has also scored hits such as Asset and Conspiracy, which features Jahmiel.

The entertainer has also collaborated with the likes of Shane O and Valiant.

Currently, Kyodi is busy in studio recording for several top flight producers such as Markus Records and Mappy Nsg.
