Mad Suss, who was released from prison last year alongside Kartel, attended Freedom Street on New Year’s Eve. While Mad Suss remained on stage for the majority of the show, he was absent during a physical altercation, which left Kartel questioning who was trying to ruin his show.

In a screenshot of a comment reportedly made by Mad Suss, he expressed that he was hurt that the moment he left the stage to escort his daughter to the bathroom, something bad happened.

“It hurt mi soul fi know seh d 1 time mi cum off a d stage fi carry mi daughter to d bathroom d 1 time an a den f**kry gwaan. D way it bun mi all tears run from my eyes,” Mad Suss said.

According to Mad Suss, the people involved were basically trying to ruin the concert, and the incident would never have happened on his watch. He went on to warn that while Kartel may have said he has changed, people should not mess with him.
