Man Takes Officer’s Gun and Fires it During Frantic Scuffle: Video
During a frantic scuffle captured on video, a man grabbed an officer’s firearm and seemingly fired it twice.
In the video, which resurfaced on Wednesday, the man can be seen lying on the ground surrounded by multiple officers.
The officers were seemingly struggling to finish handcuffing the man, who already had one cuff on one of his wrists.
During the scuffle, an officer’s firearm fell to the ground, and the man scrabbled to grab the weapon before the officer could retrieve it.
The man recording the video quickly stepped back as the man took the gun and seemingly fired off a shot. A second gunshot was heard shortly after.
While an officer was able to take the gun away, their scuffle did not end there, with the man arming himself with a wooden stick.
The stick was later taken away, and the man was held down by at least one one officer with his foot.
