Masicka No Longer Performing at Freedom Street Concert

Following an announcement that popular Dancehall artiste Masicka would be performing at the highly anticipated Freedom Street concert, a recent release has confirmed that he will not be attending, leaving fans disappointed and sparking speculation.

According to a statement from Munk Truck Show Ltd., the Genasyde artiste is unable to fulfill his commitment to Freedom Street as he is scheduled to perform on January 1st, 2025, at the Munk Truck Show in Clarendon.

The statement noted that Masicka hailed Vybz Kartel as a “legend” and expressed his anticipation to perform their 2017 hit single, “Infrared,” alongside him on an international stage in the future.

The Freedom Street lineup still includes an exceptional list of artistes, including Spice, Skillibeng, Popcaan, Tommy Lee Sparta, Gaza Indu, Sheba, Rvssian, Bounty Killer, Shatta Wale, Jah Vinci, Chronic Law, Shawn Storm, and his sons, Likkle Vybz and Likkle Addi.

The grand event is slated to take place on New Year’s Eve, Tuesday, December 31, starting at 4 p.m. at the National Stadium in Kingston, Jamaica.
