A massive multi-vehicle accident occurred at the Vineyards Toll Plaza on Tuesday in St. Catherine. Footage recorded at the scene of the accident shows extensive damage done to over half a dozen vehicles.
Several of the vehicles can be seen with badly damaged front bumpers. The accident, which included both private passenger vehicles and commercial cargo trucks, reportedly caused multiple injuries.
D’ Crime Boss of Journalism in JA who sared the video on X, captioned the video, “Reports of injuries… Bout 10 vehicle crash pon di highway #ChristmasEve #Ja #Tuesday.”
As per reports, the accident took place after the driver of a trailer truck lost control and plunged into the other vehicles. The driver reportedly fled the scene after the collision.
Vineyards Toll Plaza is located on the East-West leg of Highway 2000 in Old Harbour, St Catherine.
