[Sharingbuttons]Meleku is a young Jamaican star on the scene, putting out a new kind of Reggae music. He is the Reggae Rockstar following in the footsteps of his father, Sizzla Kalonge. Even though he is forging his own path with a new sound of joy; with music that will keep the people feeling good.

His name Melech is a hebrew name which means King even though his father called him Meleku when he did a song with Luciano and mentioned his son. This caused him to eventually decide to use Meleku as his stage name. In a radio interview he spoke about his father’s worth ethic as it was mentioned and he was asked if he worked just as hard as his father. Who has done approximately 72 albums as he keeps on working every day; as he aims to put out quality music with meaningful lyrics that will last for a long time.

Meleku said, he is encouraged and guided by his father a lot, and he is very grateful for that. His new single “Fall in Love” sounds great because his voice sounds like a professional and his music is done, with an international edge,

He has an upcoming project, ‘Fall in Love’ is a lead single and he is working with a number of producers. His EP ‘For Name Sake’ is showing the world that there is new music coming out of the Sizzla Kalonge’s camp, they are united and strong, The EP is set to be released next month.

Meleku didn’t like the pressure that came from being the son of a Jamaican Dancehall Superstar, but he has started accepting the reality even though he is still growing as an artiste and likes doing it at his own pace.
