Mr. Lexx rocks Costa Rica

[Sharingbuttons]Dancehall artiste Mr. Lexx certainly hasn’t lost his appeal with his international audience and his media tour last week in Costa Rica proved just that.

The vibe of the night was great as the entertainer delivered a high energy set to a jam packed crowd at Club Vertigo in San Jose. The language differences didn’t stop crowd goers from belting out the lyrics to his classic hits during the high octane and electrifying performance.

“You know the love is real when you perform at a place that does not speak a word of English, but the know every song word for word,” he expressed

The entertainer brought back the 90s, reeling out hits such as Cook, Pickney Nah Hold Man Again and Who Let The Monkeys Out. The performance wrapped up a series of media appearances at several radio stations across Costa Rica during his 4 day stint in the country. This follows his recent media tour in Panama a few months ago, further cementing the fact that he still has the reach and substance to appeal to international markets.

Now back on the island, Mr. Lexx has quite a few projects in the works that his fans can look forward to. One such project is a collaboration with Devonte from the classic Dancehall vocal duo, Tanto Metro and Devonte. This forthcoming track will be featured Dancehall artiste Fire Links’ new riddim. The entertainer also has a slew of local shows coming up this summer.

In the meantime, he is also busy in the studio working on his forthcoming album which is expected to be released later this year. The entertainer has also been promoting his latest track, an electrifying dance/ electronic track titled Mi Mi Mi.

Mr. Lexx is known for more than a handful of popular 90s Dancehall hits such as Full Hundred, Ring Mi Cellie and Halla Halla. His 2000 album Mr. Lexx spent five weeks on the Billboard Reggae chart and peaked at number 12. Fans can definitely look forward to all the new things the entertainer has in store because if his discography is anything to go by, he certainly won’t disappoint.
