The saga surrounding CMR whose real name is Cushane Damiah Carter continues with a new statement from Mr. Vegas and also comments from outspoken online personality Wally British.
A couple of days ago, Mr. Vegas made a video regarding the news that CMR was arrested. In the video, Mr. Vegas sympathised with Crissy and CMR sticking together despite the arrest. “People ago mek up things like a Crissy a give him the little girl… people don’t care if a him stepdaughter accused him,” said Vegas.
He went on to detail that the public wanted the hear bad news about CMR because they wanted Crissy to break up with CMR and did not “care” much about the victim. “Yuh have a thing call due process people… this is an occupation people,” he stated.
“Mek wi deal with due process and wait man, just wait and si weh happen,” he asked.
Fast forward to two days later on Thursday, the ‘Heads High’ deejay wrote a lengthy statement on the matter which carries a different rhetoric from his initial statement on the matter. He shared a video of Wally British talking on the matter and in his caption asked, “What is Clout?”.
Mr. Vegas’ statement reveals that he spoke to CMR who he calls “the subject” following the incident and the news he got from CMR contradicts what was revealed in the police report.
“What seems to be the issue here is that we both spoke to the subject and came away with different perspectives. It is highly possible that we were given different accounts of what transpired, hence the reason for this surprising rhetorics,” says Mr Vegas.
As per Mr. Vegas, he was “misled” by the subject, however, he stands corrected following the latest revelations.
