The viral single Shake It To The Max (Fly) has taken over social media for the past few months, and Dancehall artiste Mwata Modala is one of the latest deejays to showcase his skills on the riddim.
Based in Bridgeport, Connecticut, in the United States, Mwata Modala recorded and released his Eh Gal freestyle after hearing the Shake It To The Max beat. Though Eh Gal is not an official release on the Disco Neil and Silent Addy-produced riddim, that has not stopped fans from showing the single love online.
The song’s official audio was released in February and has acquired over 54,000 views on YouTube. On TikTok, the song has racked up millions of views collectively, fueled by endorsement from popular Tiktoker Lando the Dancehall mechanic, causing the song to go viral on the platform.

As Eh Gal continues to gain traction online, Mwata Modala whose real name is Mwata Thompson, released the official music video this month. The VZ Beats Productions music video was shot partially in Jamaica and the United States.
The music video opens with a scene depicting inside a hospital and shows Mwata Modala getting taken care of by a video vixen playing an overly enthusiastic ‘night nurse’. The video goes from hospital scenes to the streets as Mwata asks his female companion if she can match his prowess in the bedroom in the song’s raunchy lyrics.
“Eh gal, a weh yuh seh yah guh do mi? Seh yah guh bubble meck mi bawl fi mi mummy. Yuh si di size and yuh start move bummy. Betta dweet like a bl**dcl**t ball an bum eh,” Mwata Modala deejays in the song’s chorus.
Eh Gal is Mwata Modala’s second release for 2025, following the release of his song Big Spliff earlier this year. Fans of the artiste won’t have to wait long for another song, as the Murder deejay is set to release a new single soon.
