Officer Fatally Shoots Girlfriend and Shot Himself in St. Mary

Tragedy struck the community of Essex in St Mary Wednesday night, June 25 where a domestic incident ended in deadly shooting.

It is being reported that a Policeman who’s assigned to the Corporate Area Police Division has fatally shot a woman who is believed to be his spouse, using his service pistol in the process.

It is also being alleged that after murdering his spouse who goes by the name ‘Moya’, he used the same firearm to shoot himself, inflicting a gunshot wound to his head.

There’s uncertainty around whether the second shooting proved to be fatal as it is being said that the officer was brought to the hospital to receive treatment.

Details of the incident have been limited, plus the identity of the officer is yet to be revealed as law enforcement carries out an investigation regarding the horrific event.
