Check out the happenings below:

Skatta, seen on the sidelines of the stage with a few others, was accompanied by Vybz Kartel, who appeared to be trying to diffuse the situation. However, Skatta was holding onto a microphone, which it seemed Kartel was attempting to take from him. It seemed as though he was about to respond, but the Gazaboss stepped in.

In response to the events at the concert, Skatta posted a video with the caption, “Happy 2025 To All Peace and Love.” He explained that while he knows how to control his emotions and can overlook being disrespected repeatedly, this situation was different because his mother has been in the hospital for some time.

He emphasized that for someone to disrespect him publicly, in front of thousands of viewers, with the expectation that he would simply brush it off, was unacceptable.

“Big Freedom Street concert… when I see that individual make that statement loud and proud put me in a dilemma right deh so cause how me ago address this now without mashing up the show.”

Skatta continued, stating that he handles disrespect privately and sent a stern warning:

“Man diss me publicly, me drag him under the stage and disrespect him privately. And me a tell yuh sumn, mi woulda thump yuh under dah stage deh. Watch yuh mouth man. Nuff a unu youth anuh real man nowadays.”
