Panama scored early on in the match via a deflected shot in the 4th minute. The Central American side scored again in the 17th minute. Jamaica managed to equalize in the 27th minute via a headed goal by Amari’I Bell.

Jamaica thought they had a chance to get another goal deep into added time after 45 minutes played in the first half. However, after much delay, a challenge made on Warner Brown inside the box was not ruled as a penalty, causing the first half to end 3-1.

As Jamaica was seemingly growing into the match, Reggae Boy, Kasey Palmer brought down a Panamanian inside the box, resulting into a penalty kick which Panama scored in the 45th minute.

The second half saw much intent from both sides but the Reggae Boyz failing to score another goal, however, Panama would go on to score a 4th in the 90th minute. The match ended 4-1 to Panama.

The other match in the group, which was also played on Tuesday between Guatemala and Guadeloupe, ended 3-2.

This result from Jamaica leaves the Caribbean team at 3rd place in Group C of the CONCACAF tournament. Panama topped the group with Guatemala in second play, Guadeloupe finished at 4th place.
