Curacao are third on three points, with Honduras already eliminated without a point after two games.

“We definitely have moved on from our last game because there is nothing that we can do about that anymore, and the good thing is that we are atop the group and it’s in our favour,” central defender Shaun Francis told the Jamaica Observer.

“I think the game will be like a final,” Whitmore said Monday. “All three teams (Jamaica, El Salvador and Curacao) have a chance to qualify the next round, so I think it will be very interesting.

“The most important thing for us is to get out of the group. This is a must-win. We expect Curacao to throw everything at us.”

Jamaica will today play the final match of their group C encounter in California. Honduras also will play against El Salvador tonight in the other final match of the group.
