Reggae Sumfest 2019 Full Artistes Lineup

The biggest dancehall reggae concert in Jamaica is just a couple months away and the organizers have officially released the line-up of the artistes who are booked to perform on both major nights. Reggae Sumfest has been Jamaica’s number one Show for over 25 years and this year they are looking to go even bigger and better.

The week-long festival will be kept in Montegobay from July 14th to July 20th.

The artistes who will perform on(Night 1) Dancehall night Friday, July 19 are Koffee, Chronixx, Spice, Squash, Elephant Man, Dexta Daps, Dovey Magnum, Spragga Benz, Govana, Jahvillani, Munga, Chronic Law, Shane E, Unknown Gringo and Shauna Chyn.

The artistes who will perform on(night 2) Reggae night Saturday, July 20th are Dalton Harris, Beres Hammond, Buju Banton, Jah9, Protoje, Tarrus Riley and Christopher Martin.

Though they are not featured on the main flyer dancehall’s heavy weights Beenie Man and Bounty Killer will have a special segment of their own on July 19 called “Back To Basics and Dub fi Dub” One Night One Stage Two Legends. “Beenie and Bounty are icons of Reggae Sumfest,” said Cordell “Skatta” Burrell.

Sumfest seems to get better and better since recent times, especially notably after the cut back of spending on expensive Overseas artistes and focusing more on local acts, on promotions Island wide and live streams for those who can’t attend the show to see online. Sumfest 2019 kicks off July 14 with the Sumfest Mawnin Medz beach party, followed by the Street Dance, All White Party, All Black Blitz Party, Global Sound Clash and the Reggae Sumfest Symposium.

2018 Reggae Sumfest was a success said Joe who’s the CEO of Downsound Records and head organizer of Reggae SUmfest.
