Shaggy’s Song used as Sound Track in Netflix Film ‘Game over Man’ as he Gets Big Movie Role

[Sharingbuttons]Grammy winning artiste Shaggy is featured in the first trailer released by Netflix for a new film titled ‘ Game over Man’; set to be released at the end of March, this action comedy will include Pitch Perfect actor Adam Levine and Comedy Central’s Ander Holm and Blake Anderson.

Get ready to watch three friends on the verge of getting their video game financed, when terrorists takes their benefactor hostage. Shaggy is featured as one of the hostages in the trailer, it was released less than a week ago.

Shaggy was forced to sing his hit song ‘ It wasn’t me’ with a gun held to his head, while the stars Levine, Holm and Blake perform a kind of ‘singalong’ in the trailer. 
 
Since Shaggy posted the trailer on his official Instagram page on Monday, Jamaicans have been writing congratulatory comments on the post. They are proud to see a Jamaican in the spotlight again. They have also said they will be watching the movie in March when it is released.

Several movie review sites have said that Shaggy’s role in the film, adds to the theme, as the film is humorous. Added to that his hit song ‘It Wasn’t Me’ is the official sound track for the movie.
It is clear that this film will be a success and another talented Jamaican, Shaggy will go on to become another superstar in the movies.
