Shericka Jackson Misses New Balance Indoor Grand Prix 60m Final, Places 5th During Heats

200m gold medallist Shericka Jackson placed fifth during Saturday’s heats in the Women’s 60m at the New Balance Indoor Grand Prix in Boston, USA.

Following her exceptional 2022 athletic season, the Olympic medalist opened the 2023 season with a win at the Queen’s/Grace Jackson meet last Saturday.

Jackson clocked in ahead of her competitors with a 53.11-second finish in the 400m, but her time during today’s heats was not sufficient to send the 28-year-old to the finals.
