Skippa Owns YouTube Trending with Latest Releases

Skippa has been on a rise in Dancehall over the past 18 months. Known for his dark and nonchalant persona, the ‘Cash Code’ deejay has built up a following in the space that is growing as time passes by.

This is evident in the numbers that his songs and videos are racking up on the World’s largest streaming platform, YouTube along with his page that boasts well over a quarter million subscribers who tune in for his every release.

Skippa has been all over the platform with four of his songs in the top 6 in Jamaica. These songs include Jr Gong, Traffic, 1Stock and HBC which features Mani Sparta.

All these tracks are a part of the deejay’s latest EP titled ‘4-Pac’ that was released on June 6. The deejay has numerous songs that boasts over a million views in a short time span with tracks such as ‘Cash Code’, ‘No Prop’, and ‘Young’ just to name a few.

The St. Ann Native has shown no signs of slowing down, especially since his woes with law enforcement in February of this year which saw his name not only on the charts but on the most wanted list.

Since his introduction to the Dancehall Scene, Skippa has projects such as ‘4Granny’ which was released to honour the memory of his grandmother that passed away and the aforementioned ‘4-pac’ EP which has been doing well on majority of streaming platforms.
